Be part of the Legacy

It has been exactly 100 years since Albert Einstein created his General Theory of Relativity, changing the world with the power of his intellect and vision. To celebrate this historic milestone, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, to whom Einstein bequeathed his estate, is embarking on a number of global initiatives.

The goal of these initiatives is to inspire a new generation of scientists, leaders and humanitarians to draw upon Einstein’s exemplary spirit and bring fresh thinking to the problems facing our world. These current Foundation projects are the following:

EINSTEIN ARCHIVE AND VISITOR CENTER will house Einstein’s entire estate and intellectual legacy, including over 80,000 archives he bequeathed to The Hebrew University. It will represent the only archive dedicated to celebrating the ideals and imagination of one of the world’s greatest scientists and humanitarians.

GENIUS: 100 VISIONS OF THE FUTURE will see the world’s 100 greatest influencers, icons and leaders share their vision and wisdom of the future in the first ever 3D printed book, designed by renowned artist Ron Arad.

THE DINNER OF THE CENTURY will witness the 100 contributors of Genius: 100 Visions, as they convene to celebrate Einstein’s Legacy. This incredible private evening takes place Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. Dignitaries and the Albert Einstein Foundation Founders from all over the world will also be in attendance.

THE STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH) SUMMIT will serve to showcase the incredible innovation and scientific work of The Hebrew University and The Smithsonian Institution, and allow the attendees to hear from some of the leading scientific minds and innovators on the planet.
