Professor Simon Benita is the Former Director and Member of the Institute for Drug Research and the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy in 1980. His research is focused on polymeric Nano and Microparticulate and lipid based drug delivery systems aimed at improving

ocular bioavailability, dermal penetration, and drug targeting.

Gideon Rahat is a professor in the Department of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a senior fellow at the Israel democracy Institute. His research fields are comparative politics and Israeli politics. His interests include political parties, electoral reform, the personalization of politics and candidate selection methods. He has published numerous academic articles and several books. His current research projects are The Oxford Handbook of Israeli Politics and Society (with Reuven Y. Hazan, Alan Dowty and Menachem Hofnung) that will be published within a few months by Oxford University Press; and the Elections in Israel 2019-2020 (with Michal Shamir).
